🤖 Meta to release AI agents across all its platforms

Mark Zuckerberg announced Meta's ambitious plan to introduce AI agents to billions of users across its platforms.

The company will explore AI-driven chat experiences in WhatsApp and Messenger, visual creation tools for Facebook and Instagram, and more. With AI infrastructure development on track, Meta aims to release generative AI products in the coming months.

The Metaverse will also benefit from AI integration, enhancing users' ability to create avatars, objects, and worlds.

As a result, Meta stocks surged by nearly %14 📈

🖥️ 'The Godfather of AI' Quits Google to Warn us About AI

Geoffrey Hinton, known as the "Godfathers of AI," recently quit Google to voice concerns about the risks of AI.

Winner of the 2018 Nobel Prize for Computing for his foundational work in neural networks, Hinton now admits to having some regrets about his life's work.

He believes that the rapid advancement of AI could lead to a world filled with fake imagery and text, making it difficult to discern truth. Hinton also worries about AI's potential to eliminate jobs and, in the long run, the possibility of AI surpassing human intelligence.

In a tweet, Hinton clarified that his decision wasn't a reflection of Google's handling of AI, but instead an attempt to underscore the importance of addressing AI's potential dangers.
