✍️ Prompt of The Day: How to learn new subjects effectively with ChatGPT?

If you're eager to learn a new subject or tool, but unsure where to begin or how to manage your learning process, this prompt can assist. It allows ChatGPT to organize your learning journey, creating a well-structured course tailored to your needs.

I need you to help me learn a new subject. Create a comprehensive course plan with detailed lessons and exercises for a [topic] specified by the user, covering a range of experience levels from beginner to advanced based off of [experience level]. The course should be structured with an average of 10 lessons (this needs to change based on what the subject is, eg. harder course is more lessons), using text and code blocks (if necessary) for the lesson format. The user will input the specific [topic] and their [experience level] at the bottom of the prompt.

Please provide a full course plan, including:

1. Course title and brief description
2. Course objectives
3. Overview of lesson topics
4. Detailed lesson plans for each lesson, with:
a. Lesson objectives
b. Lesson content (text and code blocks, if necessary)
c. Exercises and activities for each lesson
5. Final assessment or proiect (if applicable)

[topic] = (Python, excel, music theory, etc.)
[experience level] = (beginner. intermediate, expert.
etc.)

📱 OpenAI launched ChatGPT mobile app

OpenAI is expanding the accessibility of AI chat with the launch of the official ChatGPT app for iOS.

The launch is currently limited to U.S. users, with future plans to roll it out on Android and in other countries.

The app offers additional features compared to its web version, including:

  • Voice input functionality enabled by OpenAI's Whisper

  • Message history search

However, some features, like Plugins and Browsing models, which are available to plus users, are not included in the app as of now, but we anticipate their integration in the near future.

🤖 Meta Unveils Code-Generating AI Model

Meta announced the creation of a generative AI tool, CodeCompose, mirroring the capabilities of GitHub's Copilot. The AI tool has been developed for coding and is currently being utilized internally by Meta's teams for generating code suggestions in IDEs like VS Code.

Key highlights:

  • CodeCompose is equipped with a whopping 6.7 billion parameters, enabling it to efficiently generate code suggestions.

  • The tool can generate single or multiple lines of code and can even complete large chunks of code based on user input. The model also uses code comments to generate suggestions.

  • Thousands of Meta's employees are accepting suggestions from CodeCompose every week, with an acceptance rate of over 20%.

However, there are controversies surrounding code-generating AI tools, primarily concerning issues of copyright infringement and the introduction of insecure code.
