🗞️ Breaking News

Midjourney has just dropped version 5.2, and it's packing some exciting features. The much-anticipated 'Zoom Out' feature is here, letting you enhance images by expanding them—picture a close-up portrait turning into a full scenic view!

Midjourney 5.2 also boasts an improved 'Aesthetics System' that promises sharper and more pleasing images.

Wait, there's more! The latest update introduces the '/shorten' command for prompt analysis, indicating words in your prompt that might not make much of an impact. Optimize to your heart's content!

Why it matters? The ability to zoom out on generated images and analyze prompts provides a significant boost to user creativity. AI image generation is getting better and better.

Amazon isn't standing still in the fast-paced AI race. It's launching the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center, promising a cool $100 million to turbocharge generative AI projects. The plan is to bring AWS pros and customers together to spark breakthroughs in AI.

The lucky participants will get to join free workshops, brainstorming sessions, and get exclusive access to AWS's innovative products. Though, initially, those with existing generative AI plans or requests get first dibs. More details about the programs will be released soon

Why it matters? With the generative AI market expected to touch a staggering $110 billion by 2030, Amazon's hefty investment might be a big step towards this rapidly evolving tech future.

Robots are leveling up, folks! They're going from following pre-programmed instructions to learning by watching YouTube videos. This big leap is thanks to the VRB (Vision-Robotics Bridge), an evolved system pioneered by CMU Robotics Institute.

The VRB model lets robots learn by observing human tasks in videos, allowing them to adapt and execute tasks in varying environments. From opening drawers to navigating around campuses, these bots are up-skilling faster than ever.

Why it matters? The era of self-learning robots isn't far. This breakthrough might just change our perception of robotics, transforming them from programmed machines to adaptive learners.
