📱 TikTok Tests In-App AI Chatbot 'Tako'

TikTok is riding the AI wave, launching limited testing of its own AI chatbot called 'Tako'. The bot makes its appearance on the TikTok interface, serving users with a more interactive browsing experience.

Key features include:

• Content Discovery: Tako helps users in finding fresh content based on their queries.

• User Engagement: The bot also suggests related questions to users, encouraging deeper interaction with the content.

It's worth noting that while the AI technology is sourced from an unidentified third-party (GPT? Claude? we are not sure yet), it's customized to fit TikTok's requirements.

Why it matters? We have never seen AI bots that interact directly with our social media usage and the content we view daily. We can’t wait to see how Tako enhances our social media experience.
