🤖 Deeper look into Salesforce's enterprise AI cloud

Salesforce is stepping up its game with the launch of AI Cloud, the powerhouse of enterprise-ready AI solutions. This platform isn't just hosting AI models from the likes of Amazon Web Services and OpenAI, but it's also driving a broader application of generative AI across its entire portfolio.

The AI Cloud features nine new models: Sales GPT, Service GPT, Marketing GPT, Commerce GPT, Slack GPT, Tableau GPT, Flow GPT and Apex GPT.

In addition, Salesforce prioritizes data security with its Einstein Trust Layer. While AI technology is transformative, it requires informed handling and judicious oversight.

🇬🇧 UK government's AI strategy decoded

In a stunning move at London Tech Week, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has secured early access to AI models from OpenAI, Google DeepMind, and Anthropic.

The plan? To fuel research in AI safety and evaluation, with £100 million set aside for AI safety research.

The research will concentrate on AI foundational models, in partnership with DeepMind, OpenAI, and Anthropic. This provides the UK with the opportunity to shape the evaluation methods for AI systems, enhancing understanding of their potential risks and opportunities.

Why is it big news? This collaboration marks a major milestone in global AI safety efforts.
