🗞️ Fresh Off The Press
In an interview for the Moonshots and Mindsets Podcast, Emad Mostaque, the CEO of Stability AI (the company behind Stable Diffusion, the most popular open-source image generator in the world).
He set the tech world ablaze with his prediction: "We might not see coders in five years!" He supports this statement by saying that 41% of all code on GitHub is now AI-generated.
However, just after this interview, Forbes released an article that accuses Mostaque of faking academic qualifications, misleading investors, and stealing others' work for stable diffusion.
After reading Forbes claims, what's your take on Mostaque’s predictions? Are they worth considering? Drop us your thoughts right here.
Ex-Apple, Imran Chaudhri and Bethany Bongiorno, have been secretly creating a tiny robot helper. Their startup, Humane, has a new gadget - the AI Pin.
The AI Pin is a little computer that you wear on your clothes. Tap it, and it helps you read emails, speak different languages, and make calls. It can even 'see' things like a chocolate bar label. Plus, it can turn your hand into a mini screen.
This gadget has the support from some big names like Qualcomm, Microsoft, and others. So, this is probably just the start.
Why this matters? AI is constantly becoming more accessible, transitioning from computers to phones, to watches, and now, even tinier wearable devices. Exciting, isn't it? We're all eager to see it in action!
